Picking On Sidney
The Hockey News published a story claiming that the agent for Sidney Crosby was “furious over goonery against Crosby.”
“I’m furious at what’s going on right now” said Pat Brison
Hockey Spy.com translation: “My meal ticket is at stake with every hit on Crosby”
“It’s not right. Sidney doesn’t deserve any special treatment, and he has never asked for it, but let’s do what’s right here.”
Hockey Spy.com translation: “I know it’s not right, but Sidney deserves special treatment. He has never asked for it, except when he’s lying on the ice whining at the referees, but let’s do what’s best for me.”
“If he wants to be a superstar, he should start looking like a superstar” said Canadiens enforcer Aaron Downey.
Hockey Spy.com translation: “He’s a big baby.”
“For a guy like Aaron Downey to say something like that is a joke” said Brison.
Hockey Spy.com translation: “If you’re not a superstar you’re not allowed to have an opinion. Besides I don’t make a penny of commission off of Downey.”
“Whenever we talk to him, he never complains about this stuff…. He never says anything to us” said Brison
Hockey Spy.com translation: “Whenever we talk to him, he never complains. But when we aren’t doing the talking, he whines and whines for hours.”
