Hockey Spy.com has been using it's Spycam for years to help our agents monitor prospects of interest. We all share in the world's grief over the passing of Pope John Paul. What hockey fans may not realize is that John Paul was a terrific hockey prospect, who could have easily played in the NHL.

In fact one of our agents just e-mailed us a scouting report that the Pittsburgh Penguins once filed on his hockey talents and his abilities as an enforcer:

"Don't let his quiet ways fool you. He can really throw them. When he gets going, he can really put the fear of God in you."

"Off the ice he's a good citizen. He goes to church almost every day. But once he gets his game face on, you had better start saying your prayers. I've never seen him lose. It's almost like he has connections at a higher level."
