Jamaican Hockey Team?
Remember when everyone used to make jokes about the Jamaican bobsled team? Those jokes didn't seem quite as funny when it actually happened in the last Olympics. How was it possible for a country with a climate that can only be called "totally friggin hot" to have teams entered in winter sports? The answer is simple. Good coaching.
Hockey Spy.com has learned that Jamaica now plans to enter a hockey team in the upcoming Vancouver winter Olympics. Again it will be good coaching that will make it all possible. Our agents have now confirmed that legendary coach Scotty Bowman will be behind the bench when Jamaica makes it's hockey debut.
In fact training camp is already underway. Our Spycam was able to sneak a few shots of the Jamaicans working on their new forchecking system. This system is wild, as the goalie is employed as the lead forchecker as this picture indicates. That Scotty Bowman is always one step ahead of the rest of us.
