E A V E S D R O P P I N G - November 29, 2006 Rude Boy Fan clubs have been a part of professional sports for many decades now. Hockey is no exception. Normally the people who operate these clubs are long time fans, who have a total addiction to the sport. They love to spend all their waking hours on team trivia, team gossip, team photos etc. Joining the team on road trips while wearing the official colours is a highlight each and every year. But in Carolina, the Hurricanes fan club has just elected a new President. And rather than go with an older more experienced person, they have decided to bring in some youth and some fresh new ideas. Obviously a younger President would be more internet savy etc. And as our Spycam photo seems to confirm, younger fan club members tend to be a bit more energetic and generally wear their feelings on their sleeves. Here's the new Hurricanes Fan Club President reacting to a soft goal that went in DURING THE PRE-GAME WARM UP. Which makes us wonder how he will react once the actual game starts.
