Montreal fans say they would have won if Rocket Richard had dressed. Toronto fans say their overpriced defencemen were a liability. Montreal fans say they would have won if Doug Harvey had suited up. Toronto fans say that coach Paul Maurice was outcoached at times. Montreal fans say that they would have won if Toe Blake was behind the bench. Toronto fans say they missed the playoffs because their team sucks. Montreal fans say they missed the playoffs because the ice was bad. Obviously Toronto fans have had more practice with this kind of disappointment. A lot more practice.
