"My view on fighting hasn't changed,'' the NHL commissioner said. "We've never taken active steps or considered eliminating fighting from the game. "I've always taken the view that it's a part of the game and it rises and lowers based on what the game dictates.'' To prove his point, Bettman has agreed to fight the leaders of the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. “I’ll put all 3 of these no-fight wimps in their place. Maybe after they see the fans go wild, they will add fighting to their sports as well.” Hockey Spy.com has been able to acquire a photo of Bettman as he trained for his upcoming scraps.
