  J U N I O R S U R V E I L L A N C E - January 25, 2007 Want to be an NHL scout? You’ve got just as good a chance of getting it right as these supposed pros do. Every year the NHL Central Scouting department releases a list of the the top players heading into the draft. When you look back 5 years later you realize that ranking kids at the age of 17 and 18 is nothing more than a crap shoot. Here’s a link to today’s latest list. When you read it, it sounds real good.
